Hear I Am season one was funded by the Minnesota Humanities Center, a statewide nonprofit and full-service event center that collaborates with organizations and people and amplify authentic, diverse voices across the state.
Hear I am is aired on 94.1 WFNU Frogtown Community Radio, a volunteer run, non profit, low-power, community radio station broadcasting out of the Frogtown neighborhood in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Many of our participants work with Cow Tipping Press, a publishing company based in Minneapolis that creates writing by people with developmental disabilities, giving audiences a new way to think about this rich form of human diversity.
Hear I Am is funded in part by the Minnesota Governor’s Council on DeVelopmental Disabilities.
A portion of these stories were recorded at the 2019 Minnesota Self Advocacy Conference in Shakopee, Minnesota.
